Craft Tool Organization

I don't know about you but, when I am working on a project 

I have to run all over the house searching through drawers, closets, boxes, etc.

to find my craft tools I use.

I finally decided it was time to organize these "go-to" craft tools in one place

so I didn't get so frustrated trying to gather them together.

So, I put together a craft tool organizer to help me 

with this little problem.

DIY Lamp Makeover

Several months ago when we were out thrifting

I picked up a really nice ginger jar lamp.

The lamp was in great shape but needed some updating 

and 

it was missing a shade.

I knew that all it needed was a little makeover 

and

it would be as good as new again.

Well, the other day I finally got around to 

giving this lamp it's little makeover

and

I love it.

Spring Vignette

Spring is really finally here..

We are starting to see lots of green 

where leaf buds are appearing on all the trees and bushes.

The flowering pear trees and some apple trees have begun to blossom 

and

the ever dreaded yellow pine pollen is starting to cover everything.

Bringing with it our ever dreaded Spring allergies.

But, I am so glad Spring is here I don't think I'll complain about them.

Spring Mantel

Spring has finally arrived at the beach this week.

The sun, the ocean breezes - the warm temps..

and being able to open all the windows
has given me a good dose of Spring fever.

I have been so busy adding pops of yellow here, 

a dash of blue there,

a bird, a rabbit, a flower - whatever hits me at the moment.....
So, let me show you what I have been up to....

Toolbox to Spring Centerpiece

Like most of you I am anxiously awaiting Spring.

I thought maybe it was here; 

only to have rain and cold temps reappear for the last three days.

So, I decided to make some of my own Spring 

by 

making this cute little tool box into a Spring Centerpiece.

This was a very easy and simple project.

I found this toolbox at a yard sale last fall 

and

intended on making it into a centerpiece for our dining table.

But, just never got around to it.

So, I pulled it out last week along with a few other things to 

start making them over.

Stenciled Canvas

I have totally been hit with the stenciling bug.
I find myself looking for things to stencil.

I also have Spring fever - there is no hope for me.
By combining the stenciling bug and the Spring fever I was able to come up with
this cute little stenciled canvas.
