DIY Beach House Sign

It's a beautiful morning and I am sitting on the back porch enjoying the sun and breezes we get here.  I love that I can sit out here and work to the sound of the birds, the waterfall and the chimes - such sweet music to work with - if we could just have it year round. Ahh, yes...
Today, I thought I would share the Beach House sign I made for our Spring/Summer mantel with you.  I am all about keeping things as simple as I can so I used Chalk Couture's chalk paste and transfer to make a sign that would I would be able to use through both seasons.

I love how easy it is to use these products and how quickly this Beach House sign was to make.  Done and on the shelf in less than 30 minutes.  Pretty cool, right? Such an easy peasy project. 

What you will need:

• A Chalk Couture box frame or surface of your choosing
• Sand sea and sun silkscreen transfer by Chalk Couture
• Morning Sky chalk paste by Chalk Couture
• Liberty chalk paste by Chalk Couture
• small squeegee 
• stir stick
• spray bottle filled with water
• paper towels

And, here's the finished sign.  So pretty - I absolutely love it - it looks so amazing on our summer mantel. And, the best part is it took me about 15 minutes to make it.  So quick, so easy, and so pretty.  That's my kind of craft project.
