Throwback Thursday - Pinecone Wreath

Vintage, Paint and more... winter wreath made from pine cones and spray painted

Since I am starting to get the Christmas decor out I thought I would share a project I did a couple of years ago with you today.   I made a pine cone wreath for our front door that I still use every year. I had wanted one of these for years but just kept putting off making one. Actually, I thought it would be quite difficult to do.  One day I just decided it was time to tackle it and sent Papa and Miss A to our backyard to pick up the pine cones to use.  Then I set out to make the wreath.

I really don't know why I waited so long.   I was rather surprised at how easy it really was to make and wondered why it had taken me so long to actually do it.  You can find the simple tutorial here.
Thanksgiving is just next week and I am working on getting some things done to share with you all soon.  So be sure and come back to see what I have been working on.
Are you working on your Christmas decor or have you already done most of your decorating?  Would love to hear from you in the comments.  I respond to comments via email.

Until next time create something you love.

I will be linking up to the parties listed on the Where I Party page above.  Please go and visit some of them as I am sure you will find loads of creativity and inspiration.

  1. That's simply gorgeous! I had pinned it a while ago but it was a re-pin so now I know the talented creator!
