Have a seat and let's chat for awhile...
And, it has been a while since we've chatted.
I have missed you all but,
with Spring Break we have been a little busy.
The weather has been exceptional.
Sunny, breezy, warm with some lower temps
a couple of days but,
for the most part, exactly what you want for
Spring Break.
Warm enough for Miss A and Dad to have a
water gun fight one evening.
So funny, watching them shoot each other.
Miss A tried her darnedest to keep up with Dad.
But, as you can see, she got the worst end of the deal, lol....
That was much to her delight of course.
She did get her Dad good one time - right in the ear....
Then she thought it was so funny cause one of her shots
made it look like he wet his pants.
That was just too hilarious for her.
Refilling it at the water faucet was just as much fun as shooting it...
She looks like a drowned rat.
On one of those beautiful days we went to
Thompson's Farm
for an Easter Egg Hunt.
Thompson's Farm is somewhat like Eckart's but
much smaller.
They had some nice lookin' strawberries there - but at
$9.00 a gallon we decided to pass them up.
Miss A getting ready for the egg hunt.
As you can tell there are plenty of eggs to pick....
Miss A with Mom and Dad impatiently waiting for the
GO!
Getting those eggs before anyone else.....
Miss A's cache of eggs.
The hunt took all of 2 minutes, I think.
It was over almost before it started but,
she had a blast.
Afterwards they gave out prizes and
then to the play area to play on the equipment.
She also got to go on a hayride to the animal pens
to feed and pet the animals.
What a day - she thought it was the
"bestest day ever".
Of course, there have been the trips to the beach -evening and day
It has been perfect to say the least.
Here's a beautiful shot for you to enjoy on your Spring Break.
Hope you all are having a wonderful relaxing break
before you have to go back to school/work and back to the old grind again.
Must go hit the walking trail
Papa and I are trying to walk everyday.
That's really hard for a couple of couch potatoes.
Come back soon - promise not to be away so long the next time.
Lovin' my life in Carolina,
Cathy
Wow! This is crazy!
ReplyDeleteI actually read this one the day you wrote it also, and i left a comment..., but! it's not here! HRUMPH!
I guess I'll just sum it up by saying... I think your pictures are beautiful, and I had wondered if you were stilling following those steps for photography that you told me about. (after reading today's, and your comment about "food shots", I believe you may be)
I also liked all the fun family activity..., I could totally relate to all the fun since I have been having fun with P and C, and all their interactions with all the Boyz around here! Imagine, two baby girls trying to rule all the 18 to 25 year old 'young men'!
Life is good!
