Hi everyone.
Hope this is finding you all enjoying some great fall weather where you are. We are still have very warm temps but a cool front came through and we finally hit the low 70's. I'll take that over those 90's any day of the week. I am so looking forward to Fall to kick in here.
Today is Throwback Thursday and I am bringing back an easy little project I did for Fall last year.
If you have been following me very long you know that I am totally in love with drop cloth fabric and use it for everything. So - it's no surprise I would make some pumpkins from a bit of that fabric. These are oh so simple to do and I made 4 of them in one afternoon. All you need is a bit of fabric (any kind will do), some fiberfill and a stem of your choice. Then, of course, you need the tutorial I used for Cinderella Pumpkins from AKA Design.
I placed mine in a small orchard basket I had painted white and tied with burlap ribbon. I also placed some faux leaves and a few other fabric pumpkins I have had. I love how vintage they look.
So, for a quick and easy little pumpkin project grab some fabric and have a blast with that great tutorial. You will love the outcome I promise.
What are you doing for fall this year? I love to hear from you so tell me all about it in the comments below. I answer all comments by email.
Until next time - have fun creating something you love.
Hugs,
I will be linking up to the parties listed on the I Party At page. Please go and visit them and check out all the great projects you can find there.
This arrangement is absolutely stunning! I love using drop cloth too!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! I love how you arranged them. I don't do a lot of fall decorating, but my kids like Halloween so these will be perfect.
