How are you this morning?

Hope your morning it is as great as mine is so far.

 

I am a little excited today...

I have been nominated by

Denise - On a Whim

 for the

Liebster Award.

 

What is that you ask?

It is an award given to up and coming blogs

with less than 200 followers.

It 's a great way for fellow bloggers to pat each other on the back

and

a fantastic way to find new blogs and meet new bloggers.

 

To accept the award I have to answer a few questions Denise chose,

so you can all get to know me better.

So without further ado - here they are:

 

 

1. If you had to live a decade other than the current one, which one would it be?
 

The 1990's when I was in my forties.

My kids were old enough to be independent,

my career was at a wonderful point,

and

we traveled a lot.

 

2.  What is your favorite blog post that you have ever written?

I would have to say I enjoyed writing about Charleston.
We enjoyed that day so much and making a lasting memory of it
is priceless.

 

3. What is your favorite book ever?
Gosh, this one is hard because I practically devour books.
I would have to say my favorite is
The Bible - it's words never grow old.
 

4.  If you could meet any famous person, who would it be and why?
I don't know that she is really famous but, I would love to
meet Joyce Meyers.  Her teachings and books
so inspire me - I would love to be able to
sit down with her and chat one afternoon.

 

5.  Why do you blog?
I started blogging basically to stay connected with family in the Midwest.
We had just moved to the East Coast and wanted them to be able to connect
with us here.  However, I was an off and on blogger for a year and
just recently got serious about blogging at all.
Now I blog because I love it...

 

6.  What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Coffee - I am an addict.
I absolutely love it.

 

7.  Where is the best place you've ever been to?
That one is a hard one also - it would have to be a toss-up
between Key West, Florida
or
St. Thomas Island in the Carribean

 

8.  What's inspiring you most these days?
The color white - can't get enough of it and
French country style.

 

9.  What is your favorite childhood memory?
Staying with my aunt on her farm in the summers.

 

10.  If your life was a movie, what would it be called?
Gypsy Nomad

 

11.  What is the last song you listened to?
American Gramaphone CD by Mannheim Steamroller
