Good morning everyone.
Today is Throwback Thursday and I am bringing a vintage vanity out of the archives that I did for Miss A's room a couple years ago.
This particular piece is one of my favorites because it gave me so much trouble and when I was almost ready to give up on it I discovered chalk paint. It turned this into the prettiest little vanity fit for a princess room.
It had some wood damage on the top of it when we bought it and needed a little TLC to bring it back to life.
It was not without some challenges getting it to the point I was happy with it. You can read all about the problems I encountered with red dots and the solution I tried to get rid of them (and my frustration during the process) at Miss A's Vanity. It was definitely a learning process for me.
I am so glad I didn't give up because she is a beauty and Miss A loves it.
Have you had a particular piece that was so frustrating and in the process you learned a great lesson?
I love to hear from you so tell me about it in the comments below. I answer all comments with email.
