Weekend Reading List #2 - Pumpkins, Pumpkins and More Pumpkins

As I was on my travels through blog-land this week I noticed all the cute little pumpkins that are being made. And most of them with great tutorials so you can make a few for your own home.  So, I rounded up some that I personally fell in love with and may be adding to my own decor.   Grab your beverage of choice - of course, mine is coffee -  and find a nice relaxing place to sit - mine is the patio - and read a while.  You deserve this bit of quiet time- you've had a long week and it's time to relax.  Let's get started

I love this cute little mason jar ring pumpkin made with washi tape by Jenny at Refresh Living.  She gives you a complete tutorial to make this simple little pumpkin so you can add it to your decor this fall also.  Just think of all the great washi tape colors and patterns there are out there.  And... so quick that you could give a few to your friends.

How about these adorable shabby chic pumpkins that Penny at Penny's Vintage Home made.  She shows you how quickly these can be done and you can do a whole patch of them to fill your home.  Plus, you could use any fabrics you have on hand, although I am particularly drawn to the blue ticking stripe for myself.

Michele at The Scrappe Shop has made these awesome distressed wood plank pumpkins.  These caught my eye the moment I saw them and fell in love with them.   Just think of all the combinations of colors and papers you could use.  She has a full tutorial for you to make your own.

These painted dollar store pumpkins are just beautiful - so neutral - they would fit in any decor.  Angela of Simply Beautiful has a step by step tutorial to guide you in making your own.  Stop by and check it out - her instructions are easy enough I think I can do this.

  4. These are gorgeous. I have been putting off decorating for the new season, keeping summer just a little longer, but now you've made me excited about it.
