Starting All Over

It has been some time - 18 months- since I last blogged and you may have forgotten you signed up for emails from Vintage, Paint and more... I hope you enjoyed the newsletter when you were receiving it and will continue to enjoy all the great things I have planned to share with you in the future.

What a beautiful summer day we're having here at the beach.  I love these days  - beautiful blue skies and warm ocean breezes make for just lazing around - reading or finally getting back to writing. It's been a while since I last posted.

Isn't that gorgeous.  I just love the beach and the ocean.  Well, as I said it has been a bit since I last shared with you all on a regular basis - 18 months.  That was due to some health issues I had.  It's been a long journey for me to get back to par but I am doing quite well now and ready to hit this blog world running.

Vintage, Paint and more... daily to do/journal

I have so many exciting projects and ideas to share with you - I can hardly wait to start. When I was posting regularly  I was in the process of making over our living/dining rooms - well, they are pretty much done and I can't wait to show you what I have done.

Not only was I able to finish up that area I have also made over the eat-in area of our kitchen, the entryway, the garage, the front landscaping, the patio and then various other little projects I will be sharing with you.  I also have plans to share some of the projects I am working on for my grand daughter's wedding this fall. She is having a rustic barn wedding and we have been creating some very fun things for it - I think you'll love them as many of them can be used in your everyday decor as well as your holiday parties.

I also have some new subjects I would like to share with you.  As I mentioned above I quit blogging due to a health issue I was experiencing - I would like to share with you my journey and how I am now working to have a healthier lifestyle.  I will also be adding a few recipes and meal plans along the way.  Then I have a couple of surprises for you but those won't be coming for a few months( have to get past this wedding first).

As with all things 18 months of absence has created a few (technical) problems.  I will be addressing those as I can.  I just ask for your patience while I iron out all the wrinkles that have occurred with my ignoring this site.

  5. The beauty about this place is that they give you a somewhat blank canvas where you can create the wedding you envisioned, etc., which will be different from others. The staff at DC wedding venues is incredible and professional.
