Rustic Potting Bench Makes a Vintage Industrial Table

Good morning friends.
I love a bargain as I am sure most of you all do also. Last week "T" found a little rustic table and thought I would like it so he brought it home to see if I could find a place for it. Can I say I didn't just like it - I Loved It. And I think you will too ...

Isn't it the cutest.  I have it all staged here just for you.  I love the color of the wood and the galvanized sheeting for the top and the shelf is definitely swoon worthy.

It has that cross bar side that I have fallen madly in love with.  There are two drawers for added storage - which we can always use. (I may change the hardware on them later though.)

It is a brand new piece but because it has a few little dings in the wood and a scrape on one little area of the galvanized sheeting and some hardware missing he got it for 80% off the original price.  He was able to replace the hardware with some we had and the dings just add to the rusticness of the piece.  It was definitely a bargain he couldn't pass on.

It is actually a potting bench which I will be using as a table in our living room which, alas,  is still in the process of getting a new look.  Hopefully I can get that "little" project done and show you the finished room soon.  I still have a few things left to do - but I will leave that for another post.
So in the mean time bask your eyes on this little beauty ... as I have been all week.

Until next time enjoy creating something you love.

I will be linking to the parties that are listed on the Where I Party page.  Please be sure to stop by and visit them - I'm sure you'll find lots of inspiration and creativity you'll enjoy.

  1. Love it! I want it! I've been on a hunt for that size table with a rustic feel for a long time, but they are usually way beyond my budget. May I ask where you got it? Will I need to put a hammer in my purse? JK! Enjoy! Cynthia
